Mini Acres Ranch

     We've got three adult turkeys free-ranging our property. Our tom, DJ, who is a royal palm breed. Then our two hens, Momma, a heritage white and her and DJ's offspring from 2017, Roulette, a combination that leads us to believe she's more of a golden Narragansett.

     We do collect eggs from both hens, unfortunately we haven't been able to master the incubation process for young poults quite yet. Momma is an exceptional brooder, but lately we've been battling a few fox in the area and they've wrecked havoc on our ranch's turkey raising attempts by devouring eggs and have even gone after Momma herself!           However, we will keep at it and should any poults be available, it will be noted on our page.
